who am i
Hello, my name is Tate and I'm a creative designer based in Denver, CO. I was fortunate enough to have a career playing Division 1 collegiate hockey and professional hockey before transitioning into coaching. Seeking a change, I made the switch to web and graphic design in pursuit of a career that would allow me to combine my analytical skills with my passion for design and creativity. With a diverse skillset that includes illustration, animation, photography, photo editing, videography and video production, motion graphics, and even music production, I bring a unique and versatile perspective to my work as a designer. Good design is about more than just aesthetics, and I work to create products that are unique, accessible, and intuitive for users.
When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me golfing, playing hockey, or making music. I have an indie rock project called Stranger Friend, and I'm always looking for ways to incorporate my music into my design work.
